The world-wide famous Glenn Miller Orchestra arrived in Bulgaria for special Christmas concert, dedicated to the Very Best of Swing. On the 22nd of December, 2009 the gala concert of the Kings of Swing, marked the 65th year since the disappearance of the great American jazz musician, composer and bandleader in the swing era Glenn Miller. Under the conduction of Will Salden and with the faithful support of the Viennese distinctive sound of the limited edition grand piano Bösendorfer Millennium II, provided exclusively by Kirov High-End for the event, Hall#1 in the National Palace of Culture exploded full of admiration, joy and applauses of the delighted audience. The Very Best of Swing presented the history of swing from the early 40’s till the late 80’s of the past Century. Glenn Miller’s musical legacy includes some of the most famous pieces of music appreciated ever, such as the ultimate hits In the Mood , Tuxedo Junction, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Moonlight Serenade, Little Brown Jug and Pennsylvania 6-5000.
