Kirov High-End at Lux Only Exhibition 2008

Driven by our passion for premium and super premium audio and video we in KIROV High-End gave the opportunity to all connoisseurs of high quality technology to hear, see and test the brilliant design and unlimited quality of our products, shown in this year’s LUX Only Exhibition in Inter Expo Centre, Sofia, BULGARIA. Among over 80 companies that we represent for BULGARIA are the world leaders in High-End technology manufacturers McIntosh, MBL, Burmester, RUNCO, Stewart, Kaleidеscape, Bösendorfer, Halcro, dCS, Bryston, Benchmark, Paradigm, PassLabs, Waterfall, SONOS, Lyngdorf, Rega, Gefen, Audioquest, Hansen, German Physics, Marten, PROCLAIM, JL Audio, Raysonic, Duevel, Furman, CYRUS, Audio Physic, Moon, Wadia, Bel Canto, Studio Electric, Scaena, David Wiener Ventures, Transrotor, Xindak, D-Box, Kubala-Sosna, Tara Labs, System and Magic, Music Tools and many more, all exhibited on our 100 m² stand in the center of Hall 3, from 4th until 7th of December 2008.

For the first time the Bösendorfer magnificence and touching sound was revealed to Bulgarian audience. Three exclusive Grand Pianos were played beautifully by a professional piano-player every day during the exhibition. The unique Grand Piano Bösendorfer model 290 Imperial with its 97 keys and full eight octaves, uncompromised pure Viennese sound and its worldwide unsurpassed tone range inspired composers for their piano works. Another Limited Edition Bösendorfer Grand Pianos exhibited on KIROV High-End stand were the Millennium ІІ (88 keys) and the Marquis (88 keys) with integrated CEUS system. The Bösendorfer CEUS reproducing system was developed by the University of Technology in Vienna. As a fantastic result CEUS is reproducing by its self – without a piano-player and with absolute precision all kinds of musical compositions for piano, re-creating all shades of the real performance by the best classics.

The most expensive stereo system, proudly standing on the red carpet was the impressive McIntosh stereo system. Each McIntosh XRT2K Loudspeaker have six 12” aluminum cone woofers, sixty-four 2" titanium midranges and forty ¾" titanium tweeters, totally 110 speakers makes the 270 kg Loudspeaker unique combined with its 2 000 Watt power. Each McIntosh MC2KW 2000 Watt monoblock power amplifier has two 1 000 watt power module contains ½ of the balanced circuitry complete with its own power supply resulting in double balanced configuration. Since KIROV High-End brought McIntosh to Bulgaria the world of sound has changed. The McIntosh Company is well known with high engineering productivity, contemporary digital technologies and design, providing memorable audio and video experience.

The imagination, creativity and excellent engineering of MBL was totally appreciated and admired by the audiophile visitors of the exhibition. The MBL 101E MKІІ Loudspeaker is the most advanced version of the concept that breaks through the physical limits of conventional speakers – the Radialstrahler, an audio equation that MBL has solved 20 years ago. The MBL 101E MKІІ is reproducing a multi-dimensional 360 ̊sound panorama that no other speaker could reproduce with its frequency range up to 40 000 Hz and integrated 12” cone sub-woofer. The MBL Loudspeakers were accompanied by two 9011 Mono/Stereo Power Amplifiers, each with peak pulse power 5 000 (mono)/1 200 (stereo) Watt and weight 90kg. All four elements combined with MBL 6010 preamplifier, 1611 DAC and 1622 Transport makes the complete High-Fidelity "Reference Line" experience possible only on KIROV High-End stand.

Other High-End products, shown on the LUX Only Exhibition were Hansen’s THE KING V2 - a five driver, 3-way floor standing speakers with two woofers and dual mid-band drivers; THE PRINCE V2 - a three driver, 3-way floor standing loudspeakers; HRS 120 - Omni-directional Loudspeakers with Titanium DDD Driver and The Carbon Mk ІV – Carbon fiber pair of Omni-directional Loudspeakers with DDD Carbon Fiber Driver, designed and developed by German Physics; Mårten Coltrane Loudspeakers - frequency range 20 - 100,000 Hz, two 9” ceramic cone drivers, 4" concave ceramic cone midranges and 3/4" diamond-diaphragm inverted-dome tweeters; JLAudio Subwoofer Gotham g213 – 3 800 W, twin 13,5” driver; The world most expensive CD Player dCS Scarlatti; The Monaco Carbon Turntable by GrandPrix Audio;
Especially for the gamers KIROV High-End demonstrated the D-BOX GP PRO-200 – a gaming
system that intensifies the interactive gaming experience. Responding in real time to the gamers'
maneuvers at the controls and to all the action on-screen, creating a real-life motion.
D-BOX has specially developed systems for home theatre. It is a hydraulic system, fitted in an armchair or loveseat. Its actual function is to lift and bend the seating to all directions with 10 cm. displacement for absolute real-life motion, according to the movie motion code.

Exclusively for the exhibition KIROV High-End presented the Art.Engine FERRARI carbon stereo loudspeaker by David Wiener Ventures, USA. The Art.Engine FERRARI loudspeaker is a unique single stereo loudspeaker in the world and it is 1 of a 1000 manufactured pieces.
