On 6th of October, 2009, Kirov High-End visited the manufacturing facilities, the headquarters and showroom of the Austrian piano manufacturer Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik in Vienna, Austria.

The Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik company is one of the oldest, most exclusive and most respected companies in piano craftsmanship worldwide. With its 181 years of history and traditions, the Austrian company has become one of the strongest leaders in the industry. Each hand-crafted grand piano with the Bösendorfer brand on it is deservedly considered as a unique masterpiece. The company's portfolio includes more than 80 standard, special, limited models and designed grand pianos.
Not only an exceptional and incredible musical instrument, the Bösendorfer grand is a symbol of the love of music, of bourgeoisie, sophistication, style and class, prestige and capabilities of every person who owns it.

On the 6th of October, 2009 the team of Kirov High-End along with the Bösendorfer representatives – Mr. Rupert Loschnauer, Communications Manager, and Mr. Dieter Autengruber - PR Manager  arrived at the doors of the Bösendorfer factory in Wiener Neustadt .

After following the demonstration, monitoring of production process and the explanations given for the construction and the used materials of each element of the piano, our team returned to the city full of information and new ideas. It seems that a Bösendorfer grand is not only an instrument at all!

In the heart of Vienna, at Graf-Starhemberg-Gasse 14 is located the headquarters of Bösendorfer Klavierfabrik. The company has three exhibition halls, where you can see all standard, special and limited grand pianos, such as the model Mozart, produced only in a limited number of 27 pieces, each dedicated to one of the 27 Piano Concerto by the great composer. There is also the unique model Brussel – a combination of unusual design, bright colors and modernism – something unseen till the year of its manufacturing - 1958 on the occasion of the World Fair in Brussels.

The Bösendorfer exclusive showroom is located on Bösendorferstrasse 12, in the Musikverein where all Vienna New year’s concerts are held. The Bösendorfer team demonstrated how grand pianos can reproduce musical works themselves, by the most unique integrated reproducing system – the Bösendorfer CEUS. The system is developed in close collaboration with the Technical University of Vienna. It plays any musical works and compositions, written for piano by itself - without a pianist and with absolute precision up to 2 ms. CEUS recreates all musical nuances and shades as the real performance of the best classics masters. Another advantage is that the system allows you to record your performance in real time, and afterwards to hear and detect errors and imperfections in your playing. The integration of CEUS is possible for each model grand piano Bösendorfer. The system has its own storage resources for musical compositions. Once played and recorded the performance can be transferred electronically and be used with another CEUS reproducing system. It is possible an online communication between the CEUS systems of two Bösendorfer grand pianos in real time. The most amazing fact is that with CEUS you don’t have to know how to play the piano to own one.
